I had my sleeve surgery at Erdem 2 months ago... I did a lot of research on the hospital and doc Omar before going... and chose doc Omar as he does not only use staples but stiches and glues the stomach making it a much safer procedure.The staff were amazing and the coordinators Amina and Denis were outstanding..I had all my checks, blood tests, scans, ECGand endoscopy etc the day before surgery... I was well assured by the team... And was well looked after after surgery... I stayed 4 days post op.. the hospital is very clean we had free WiFi so was able to contact my family... Where there was a language barrier the staff would use Google translate ( only needed it twice). I have lost 2 stones 10 pounds in 9 weeks... I am still in touch with my team..I am absolutely thrilled that I chose Erdem and doc Omar.

It would help if the nurses are able to speak English, I was not able to address my needs with them, also they should not ignore the call bell for a long time it could be an emergency. Thank you for everything

I have had the gastric sleeve done at erdem hospital and I am very pleased to say that everything went perfect, no struggles or difficulties. Everything was amazing and I am very happy with the results!

Had gastric sleeve here 15th March 2018, the staff were excellent from surgeon all the what to the cleaner, a little language barrier at times but nothing that Google translate couldn't deal with, I would give 5 stars but there was no television programmes in English though maybe this has changed since my visit, price very very reasonable almost a third of UK.. I would recommend this Hospital to anyone, I don't think you could find a more dedicated surgeon than Dr Omer Avlanmis

I had Gastric Sleeve Surgery at Erdem Clinic in July. I would highly recommend the Erdem Clinic, the whole experience from airport pickup to the hospital was amazing. Staff are amazing , hospital is the cleanest I’ve ever seen. The transfer car is total luxury. Every aspect of care was covered. Dr Omer and his staff are amazing. Highly recommended.

I had gastric sleeve surgery at Erdem hospital 5 days ago. Deniz was absolutely amazing from the start giving me all the information I required and kept in touch all the way through and even checking up after. Dr Ömer was also amazing and made me feel at ease, he came to visit when I arrived at the hospital and after the operation he came 3/4 times a day to see how I was getting on. The hospital itself was very clean and a good modern set up with en-suite rooms for comfort. The nursing team were great and very attentive and thorough. I would highly recommend Erdem!

I had my gastric sleeve on 10th May, till now I have lost 14.5 kgs. it has stopped loosing, but the hospital did a good job, I am happy to recommend this hospital to anyone.

From start to finish Erdem was absolutely brilliant! I had the gastric sleeve. Special shout to Deniz, she coordinated everything, answered a hundred questions and spent time with me just chatting, she's a star!The efficiency of the team was incredible and the pre-op was far more in-depth than anything I have experienced in the UK. Dr ömer visited x2 a day and the nursing team were caring and very friendly. The hospital is very clean and the rooms are lovely with your own ensuite.I don't often write review's but Erdem, you thoroughly deserve it! I wouldn't think twice in recommending Erdem and the team. I felt at ease, the arrival was smooth I stayed 5 days in total and couldn’t fault any of it ♥️Living in the UK and travelling to turkey was a worry I won’t lie I suppose the unknown and the language barrier but at a fraction of the cost than the UK I felt it was my last chance to lose weight, being a mum to 3 children I was putting a lot on the line so it was a hard decision , but I can safely say it’s the best decision I've ever made ! Had my gastric sleeve done here last week Thursday and returned home yesterday 01/07/19. I am honestly very impressed with the service I received right from the organisation of my trip until my return home. Majority of the staff spoken good enough English; I am grateful to every member of the team right from the surgeons, doctors, nutritionist and fantastic nurses down to the cleaners who kept my private room absolutely clean (btw my room had two beds for myself and whoever I brought along to keep me company). I am home now and people don’t even believe I’ve had surgery out all the way in turkey just last week, I barely have any pain left and I am just very happy I can go on my daily activities as normal. I was also sent home with all my required medications and investigation results. I have recommended this clinic to just about everyone and in fact, my friend is booked and ready to go for her procedure in less than a week. Thanks to the team and especially to Deniz who organised my trip and ensure I knew what was going on at every step my hero.

I had a very happy experience at the Erdem. Drivers waiting outside arrivals to collect us. Nurses immediately getting blood and testing started as soon as we arrived. Pre-op tests were amazingly thorough!Op day was very smooth. The staff did everything necessary to help with pain and extremely calm and friendly (that includes cleaning and catering staff). I left feeling very happy with my experience and would recommend 100%. Dr Omer and his team perform miracles!

I had a gastric sleeve operation. It went really well. All the doctors were academically competent and good at informing. Nutritionist and interpreter were also very good. The negative was that I was lying on a bed of blood stains for two days, despite the fact that the nurses promised to change it.The hospital is highly recommended.
