I am really glad I choose Novamed. I had excellent care. I want to say big thank you for nurses was looking after me 24 hours.

Experience was great and I was taken care off very well. Everyone is extremely kind and welcoming and attend to all your needs. All medicines (for first few months) and protein powder (to last two months) were provided. Hospital room is decent for the patient, Nurses will help you with anything you ask. Food is provided at set times. My surgeon, did check ups each day I was at the hospital Transfers were on time and provided and very comfortable. Hotel stay was also excellent but the internet was very very bad, everyone was kind, supportive, and understanding of the situation. Communication was great with John, the person who booked my stay and operation, and the dietician you will talk to at the hospital and the whatsapp group, everything was superb.

Hospital room is decent for the patient and companion to stay, although the bed provided for the companion is not the comfiest. It was a sofa bed that was rough, just did the job. Nurses will help you with anything you ask. Food is provided at set times. My surgeon, Dr Mohammed, did check ups each day I was at the hospital and also agreed to see me before my flight back. He was very comforting and understanding. Transfers were on time and provided and very comfortable. Hotel stay was also excellent, everyone was kind, supportive, and understanding of the situation. Only thing is they were sometimes behind schedule at meal times. Communication was great with Angela, the person who booked my stay and operation, and Sheila, the main dietician you will talk to at the hospital. The only reason I give 4 and not 5 is because communication on the dietician groupchat is very slow and sometimes takes a while to get a response. Other that this, everything was superb.

The team at novemed was very good before, and after having gastric surgery. They were very friendly and helpful, apart from the lack of beverages provided to me and my companion. They also failed to help provide any needed exercise, but were very happy to answer any and all questions I had.

As a patient, I researched Nova Med before the surgery and I was impressed with the reviews so I felt safe to go through the experience with them. I’m very glad I did because comfort and ease was made a priority, before and after the surgery. Even outside of the hospital, communication was still strong. I have no faults.

I travelled to Turkey with my 2 daughters as their ‘patient companion’ and admit I was worried when I learned they were planning to undergo bariatric sleeve surgery. I did quite a bit of research on Novemed and the operation and was soon reassured that we had chosen the right company. Everything from start to finish was communicated and managed well and had clearly been done before. The staffing team were caring and friendly. They were even considerate of me. A sincere thank you to all the Novemed members of staff and hospital staff for the high standard of care and support given to my daughters and to me. You guys are wonderful!!!

Everything was great from start to finish! The patient advisor before we arrived ensured our arrival and transport was smooth, the staff in the hospital were great & the surgeon was very personable. On discharge from the hospital, we arrived at the hotel which was very comfortable and allowed us to relax which is just what we needed. They simply provide everything you need and are there around the clock to deal with any questions/ queries.

Flew out to Istanbul on 28.07.2022 for surgery on 29.07.2022. I cannot fault the service provided from being collected from the airport, to the hotel we stayed in and to the care I received whilst in hospital before and after surgery. The team looking after me were outstanding including Rosa, Taylor, Shayla and my surgeon Dr Muhammed. They kept my companion informed and updated all through surgery and answered any questions and concerns to put our minds at rest. Our stay went with no issues and I was amazed at how well organised the whole process was. The check up I received before surgery was VERY thorough - one that I would never have received back in the UK. I would just like to say a big thank you to all those involved. My new lease of life has begun and I am so pleased I decided to go with Novemed. Thank you 😊

From the initial contact and consultation with John, all of the planning and coordinating, and finally the warm embrace upon my arrival at the hospital by the brilliant and extremely pleasant surgeon Dr. Muhammed Zubeyr Ucuncu. He leads an incredible team of caring and passionate nurses, translators, dietitians, and other critical support staff. Seriously, Novemed is the medical group for you and I promise you’ll be in the very best hands. I would do it all over again with them if I had to. Highly recommend!

Coming from the UK I was nervous as I couldn’t find many English people that had been with the same company but Everything from my first message to arriving in Turkey to leaving Turkey was well organised and amazing! Cannot fault anything. The hospital staff were helpful, kind and gentle with everything I needed/wanted. The surgeon did an incredible job. I had an amazing translator for my days in hospital and my nutritionist was amazing and helpful too. Hospital was lovely, the hotel was lovely. All over great experience. Would recommend to anyone!

Very friendly staff and professional service.

Had the gastric sleeve and a smooth transition all the way through. The staff were great and the Novemed Reps were amazing explaining everything so clearly. I was back in the hotel within 2 days relaxing. Not much pain at all would definitely recommend.
