With all the hair transplant places out there, and especially in Turkey, I figured I had to write a comprehensive review of my amazing experience getting a hair transplant with Estenove. One of the biggest reasons I didn't do this 6-8 years ago was because I was so indecisive about where to get this done. Right now I'm officially 7 days post-op at the time of this review. First of all I have no regrets whatsoever about coming to Istanbul from Boston for this procedure, and I'm sure there's lots of good places, but this was the toughest decision for me, but I'm so glad I did it for many reasons. After going through this here and talking with dozens of different people I've met here throughout this process who have done it and who are doing it, and meeting others and watching videos etc etc I've discovered that this really is the place to get this done, as long as you choose a reputable clinic you're probably going to be happy. It turns out I lucked out also and got one of the best doctors in the industry, Dr. Zafer Cetinkaya here at Estenove. My story started like this. After years of contemplating this, and being indecisive as to where I should have this done, from the minute I first heard about Estenove a few months ago from a guy named Jerry my gut instincts told me maybe this was the place. I was put in contact with Batu and I got a great feeling. I'll start with him the man in charge, Batu Han. from the first message, all the way through the procedure, and still until now and through this aftercare he has been nothing but extremely nice and professional, tactful, patient, level-headed, and on top of everything. He speaks perfect English and understands everything, and not once have I felt frustrated or questioned my decision. Throughout the planning process he provided tons of other patient testimonials, endless reviews, etc whenever I requested them or seemed in question. Very helpful. Did a video call when it was convenient for me, was never pushy at all, and followed up in a timely manner. Lining this up was super easy. (for me at least. I hope it was for him as well;)  Airport pickup was smooth, WhatsApp correspondence all the way through was always on-time, and then once I arrived to Istanbul Lydia my translator and patient aid from the minute I arrived at the clinic the morning of surgery was waiting on the sidewalk when I arrived. Super kind and extremely detail-oriented patient person, she deserves an A+ for everything she does. her work ethic, perfect English, attention to detail, empathy, compassion, and attention with people. Entering the building every single person was super nice. Check in before surgery was quick and smooth. Within 10 minutes we started out, first with a consult in the doctor's office, he drew my hairline and showed me the mirror, which I was fine with. I feel like he nailed it perfectly on the first try. I mean he's obviously done this thousands of times before, and although I'm kind of a perfectionist, I just felt like I was in good hands and I went with it not trying to change a thing. and I'm glad I did because in the end I'm happy with it. He gave me the opportunity and time to change it if I wanted to, but I didn't. Lydia then took me to the OR where she introduced me to the team, they shaved my head, took pictures, and prepared me for surgery. once I was down in the chair and ready The doctor came in again to look everything over, draw some more lines on my head, point out a few things. everyone seemed to be working very well in harmony together, as if they had been working together for a very long time, and as if they all really liked their job as well, which is always a good sign. I liked the vibe and energy that was happening. Lydia kept checking in, it seemed whenever I needed to ask her something she was there with her cheerful voice and authority over everything that was going on. From the first message to the last check up, everything was so accommodating. It was easy from start to finish. Me and my father were looked after very well and the staff were very good and friendly. I 100% recommend for anyone getting a hair transplant. They pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel which has been booked for you. And pick you up and take you to the doctors office. My review comes 1 year after the transplant. There is some difference compared to how i was before the transplant but the finial result is not as expected and promised by EsteNove. If you see my head from top it does not look that good. First i will start with hotel experience which was not great at all. EsteNove promised a five star hotel but from the hotel website they were saying is 4 star hotel and the experience it feels like 2. There were no doors at toilet which made me very uncomfortable considering i was with a friend in the same room and prepare to pay extra when leaving because of bedsheets getting bloodily from transplant which in my opinion should be cover by the package and they didn't warn us for extra cost. The experience in clinic was good in general but not the work done in me. I was expecting an expert working but i got some juniors working on my head. The doctor will come just to ask you some question and draw a line in your head and you never get to see him again. Mostly of the good reviews here come from people that haven't seen the full result yet but just coming out from clinic which is not relevant for a real review. I have also used their product for a year and there is no room for excusing the final result. Considering all what i have sad this experience was not worthy and i do not recommend.
